Melbourne on CD, Sydney on CD, Central Coast on CD The Points Within Distance function allows you to list points within a specified distance from any nominated origin. The points matching the distance criteria are listed in order of distance from the origin, displaying point name, point class and Map Reference. From this list, an individual point may be selected and the map containing it displayed. The text file associated with the point may also be viewed. Multiple points may be selected from the list. You can print those maps containing the selected points, or the text file data associated with the points or both the maps and the text. The classes of points to be listed may be specified, and you can choose to display only PWD points on the maps and prints of maps. The
points within distance list data may be viewed and saved as a text file and
transferred to other programs such as Excel for analysis
(for example, a histogram of point density against distance.) |
